I4E Startup Spotlight: An End of Year Celebration
Do you have a good idea that you think others will agree with? How compelling can you be in making your point? Can you convince an audience in 2 minutes or less? Application to Pitch DUE by Friday, November 14th!
That’s what we’re asking for our I4E Startup Spotlight! You will have 2 minutes to convince our audience of students, professors, investors, business experts, and entrepreneurship mentors that your idea is worth pursuing!
- Open to all current CSU Students (undergrad, grad, & post-grad)
- 2 min maximum to convince the audience (you will be timed)
Time: 4:30 – 6:30 PM
Location: Visit Fort Collins Welcome Center (7 Old Town Square suite 100, Fort Collins, CO 80524)
- Thursday, October 9: Applications Open
- Friday, November 14: Applications Due
- Tuesday, November 18: Finalists are selected and notified by email
- Thursday, December 4: Finalists present a 2 minute pitch and winners are announced
Prize Structure: The top individual or team will be awarded a monetary prize of $1,500. The second and third place winning teams will be awarded $750 and $250, respectively. Don’t miss out!!

The Institute for Entrepreneurship will review all completed applications. If selected to move forward, students will deliver a 2-minute pitch in front of our community mentors, fellow entrepreneurs, faculty, students, and I4E staff on the day of the competition. Everyone will cast votes to decide on the winners.
