Accelerating CSU-Affiliated Startups at the Nexus of Food, Energy, and Water through Subject Matter Experts, Embedded Entrepreneurs-In-Residence, and Student Entrepreneurs-In-Training

Overview

Colorado State University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with CSU STRATA, the 501c3 non-profit corporation that serves as the technology transfer office for the CSU System, is accelerating CSU and CSU Spur Campus-affiliated startups commercializing technology at the nexus of food, energy, and water. CSU is also proactively working with universities across the broader Rockies/Plains region to expand the accelerator model as new funding and partnerships emerge.

Introduction

Food, energy, and water are essential for human well-being, and the systems by which they are produced, refined, distributed, and consumed are inextricably intertwined. Because of this, startups working at the nexus of food, energy, and water have unique and evolving needs that necessitate ready-access to a diverse suite of subject-matter experts and well-trained talent to support growth.
